Asad Durrani, Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer Asad Durrani has been at the helm of AAXIS Group leadership since co-founding the company with Amir Zafar in 1998.

A career entrepreneur, Mr. Durrani's lifelong involvement in the start-up world began in 1987 when he joined Electrocare, a CA-based durable medical equipment distributor, as a managing partner. In a two year period, Asad was instrumental in successfully re-directing the business from operational instability and an underperforming balance sheet to unprecedented levels of financial growth and profitability.

Mr. Durrani remained with Electrocare until 1991, when he founded Bio-Global Trade, a holding company with a principal business focused on durable medical equipment distribution throughout Europe and Asia . Durrani grew operations steadily over a seven year period, diversifying holdings to build a multi-million dollar business in textile import and export, extensive food commodities trading and heavy capital equipment sales to new global markets.

In 1998, Asad sold a large stake of his holdings in Bio-Global Trade, exiting the commercial brokerage business to pursue real estate development in the Los Angeles area. Raising capital from independent investors, he established a multi-million dollar private equity fund, managing a select number of projects that yielded as much as a 42 percent annual return rate for investors.

Durrani remained in real estate development until the Internet economy boom shifted his interest to the IT industry. Courting technology sector growth, Asad and Amir Zafar co-founded AAXIS Group in December of 1998. Leveraging the company's early success developing technologies for a major online insurance conglomerate, Durrani went on to build the business as a premier provider of enterprise IT solutions to the entertainment, financial, retail and automotive industries in the Los Angeles area.

In his six years with AAXIS, Mr. Durrani has overseen the company's steady, decisive growth, building the business from a team of six to a currently growing workforce of 150+ people. Under his leadership, AAXIS has sustained continuous profitability and operational expansion to worldwide markets and is currently positioned as one of the fastest growing technology consultancy companies in the Western United States .

Mr. Durrani received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986 from Macalester College in St. Paul , Minnesota . He resides in suburban Los Angeles.
